Greenery Pattern

Okay, folks. It's all yours. You're my proofreaders, my beta testers, my guinea pigs. If there's something wrong, let me know. Sis will be home next week with her camera, so I'll add pictures then.

The Greenery Hat (free Ravelry download)

[Now includes two pretty pictures!]

[April 19th 2007: I've created a Flickr group so y'all can post your Greenery Hat pictures!]

Yay, hat pattern!

Very nicely done. The PDF looks great. I'll have to work one of these up.

Beauty! And hey - do you attend NYRF? If you visited the spinning booth, we might have crossed paths already...(although I'm found at CTRF and SCRF as well!)

Ah... the hat pattern. Just in time - I've been needing some hat-ly inspiration. Thank you!

Thank you for the praise! I want to see all of your hats when they're done.

deenz, I always plan on going to the NYRF, but rarely make it... too long a drive for acts that don't really impress me (except the Reelies, but they're at the SCRF, too). I go to CTRF and SCRF every year, though. Wouldn't dare miss the Feudal Feud or Daniel Greenwolf. ;)

Hey, good job with the pattern, it looks great! I've printed it out and I'll start it soon. Thanks for taking the time to write it up!

I can see your point with the drive to NYRF, lol...luckily it's not so bad from where I am.

The Reelies are great - personally and performance-wise. And Danny too (he'll love that I found another fan...ooooohhhhh....ahhhhhh....YES!)! Guess I'll see you at one or both next year!

I can't find your email address but I wanted to let you know that I made this hat, and really enjoyed it. You can see it at my blog. Thanks for a great knit.

This hat is GREAT but I am getting an error when I try to get the pattern. :( Can you help?

Just a note to thank you for making your pattern available on Ravelry. I just came full-circle with my Ravelry experience and posted your hat as a finished product, because I've realized how great that site is not only for pattern and yarn suggestions, but for photos and opinions, too!

Need help salvaging the hat! I thought I did row 30 and 31 correctly, but row 32 (as written) does not follow what logically I can see needed to be knitted. I changed row 32 and did it as follows: P1, K3, P2, K3 P3. But then row 33 doesn't jive either! If I could, I would unknit to row 30, but not sure how to keep all my stitches straight because of the cables.

Lisa, it's likely the way I wrote the movement of the beginning of the row wasn't a format that works for you. Would you mind emailing directly (lilithparker at yahoo) so I can walk you through it? Thanks!
